The Beginning of Something Great

Today marks the momentous occasion of my very first blog post! Thanks to the recommendation of a friend, I decided that this would be the very best way for the people I love, my family and friends, to see what's happening in our everyday lives, especially since many of them are at least a day's drive away. Plus, it allows an avenue through which I can spend my very pregnant days of boredom and then eventually, brag about my baby girl, who will be making her debut in just a few weeks (or less?). So far, this pregnancy has been a blessing. I would even say its been a total breeze. God has blessed us SO much in the past year - a new home in Mississippi, new careers, a new church family, a new Air Force family, two kittens, a dog, and the expectation of first-time parenting. More so than ever is the great appreciation I feel everyday for what God has given us - it truly is so much more than we deserve! So to all of you out there who will be visiting my blog occasionally (or frequently), I hope you enjoy it! There is nothing inadvertantly spectacular about our little life, but I hope and pray you can find some encouragement, inspiration, or just a good laugh from us in the future.
